David Ketchum, the beloved comedian, actor, and writer best known for playing Agent 13 on the classic TV series Get Smart, has died at the age of 97.
Ketchum became famous for his comedic role as the hidden spy Agent 13, often appearing in strange places like mailboxes and lockers. Throughout his career, he also appeared in shows such as Camp Runamuck, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and I’m Dickens, He’s Fenster.
In addition to acting, he was a successful television writer, contributing to popular series including MASH, Wonder Woman, MacGyver, Full House, and The Love Boat.
He is survived by his wife Louise, their two daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
