Daytime soap opera actress Jennifer Harmon dies at 82!

Broadway and soap opera actress Jennifer Harmon has died at the age of 82.

Born in 1943 in Pasadena, she first gained attention in the soap How to Survive a Marriage (1974–1975), then rose to fame as Cathy Craig Lord on One Life to Live, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1978. She also appeared in Another World, Loving, and Guiding Light.

Harmon became best known for her extensive Broadway career, appearing in 21 productions, including The Glass Menagerie (2005) and Other Desert Cities (2011), her final stage role. She also worked as an understudy for stars like Stockard Channing, Judi Dench, and Jessica Lange, and appeared on TV shows such as Dallas, Law & Order, and The Good Wife.

She is remembered as a respected and versatile stage and screen actress.
