LeAnn Rimes recently celebrated 15 years of marriage with Eddie Cibrian, calling him her emotional lifeline during a difficult time. In an emotional Instagram post, she revealed the couple has been dealing with “tense” and “heart-wrenching” family struggles, making this anniversary one filled with tears, worry, gratitude, and love.
Despite the challenges, Rimes said their relationship has grown stronger through the years, writing that they’ve learned how to “ride the waves” together and support each other through hard times.
The couple’s relationship began amid controversy in 2009 after they met while filming Northern Lights, while both were married to other people. After divorcing their former spouses, they married in 2011 and faced years of public scrutiny.
Today, Rimes says their life is much calmer, especially after helping raise Cibrian’s two sons. She described their marriage as supportive, joyful, and built on deep understanding, adding, “We’ve been through so much together… but so far, so good.”
