William Daniels and Bonnie Bartlett are clearing up rumors about their so-called “open marriage” ahead of their 75th wedding anniversary. Bartlett explained that while both experienced attractions and affairs during their long relationship, they never officially agreed to an open marriage or set rules about it.
The couple admitted their marriage faced painful struggles over the years, including affairs and the heartbreaking loss of their newborn son, but they stayed together and built a life with their two adopted sons. Despite everything, Daniels said he could never imagine spending his life with anyone else but Bonnie.
