The NASCAR world is mourning after reports claimed that Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup Series champion, passed away at age 41 following a severe illness. NASCAR and the Busch family shared emotional tributes, calling him one of the sport’s greatest drivers.
Born in Las Vegas, Busch began racing at a young age and built a legendary career spanning more than two decades. Driving the famous No. 18 Toyota, he won Cup Series championships in 2015 and 2019 and became one of NASCAR’s most successful stars.
Alongside his brother Kurt Busch, the pair became NASCAR’s winningest brothers with 95 combined Cup Series victories. Busch is survived by his wife, Samantha, and their children, Brexton and Lennix.
