An Amazon delivery driver in Minnesota became a hero after saving a woman’s life during a brutal attack. While delivering a package on May 11 in Wyoming, he heard screams coming from inside a home. When he went to check, he found a blood-covered woman and her 72-year-old husband holding a hammer.
The driver forced his way inside, ordered the man to drop the weapon, and called 911. Police later said the suspect had repeatedly struck his wife in the head with the hammer in an alleged attempt to kill her, reportedly over financial problems.
The 78-year-old man now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and assault. Authorities praised the Amazon driver for his quick actions, saying his intervention likely saved the woman’s life and helped bring the violent situation to an end.
