Beloved Minnesota hockey reporter Jessi Pierce has tragically died alongside her three children in a devastating house fire in White Bear Lake, the NHL confirmed. She was 37.
Fire crews responded to the early morning blaze after neighbors called 911, but the home was already fully engulfed in flames. A family dog also died in the fire.
Pierce spent over a decade covering the Minnesota Wild for NHL.com and also contributed to The Athletic and the Bardown Beauties podcast. The NHL honored her as a passionate and valued voice in hockey.
She is survived by her husband, Mike. Her children were identified as Hudson, Cayden, and Avery.
