Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, actress and former wife of David Hasselhoff, has died at 61. According to TMZ, she was found dead at her Los Angeles home on March 5 in an apparent suicide after family members became concerned when they couldn’t reach her.
In a statement to PEOPLE, David Hasselhoff’s representative said the family was “deeply saddened” and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pamela built an acting career with appearances in shows like Baywatch, Knight Rider, The Young and the Restless, and Sirens. She married David Hasselhoff in 1989, and the couple had two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, before divorcing in 2006 after nearly 17 years together.
Pamela is survived by her daughters, Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32, as well as her granddaughter, London.
