Former US First Lady Jill Biden revealed she feared her husband, President Joe Biden, was having a stroke during his troubled 2024 debate against Donald Trump.
“I was frightened because I had never seen Joe like that before or since,” she told CBS News. “As I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’”
The debate sparked widespread concern about Biden’s health and ability to continue his re-election campaign. Facing growing pressure from Democrats after the performance, Biden eventually withdrew from the 2024 race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, who later lost the election to Donald Trump.
