Duane Ollinger, the oilman and treasure hunter from Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch, has died at 68 after battling ALS, according to TMZ. He passed away Monday at a hospital in Texas.
Ollinger was known for his search for rumored lost Aztec gold beneath his Utah property, featured on the Discovery Channel series that began in 2021 and followed him and his son Chad exploring underground cave systems and local legends.
Before TV fame, he made his fortune as a high-risk oil contractor in Texas and later invested everything into Blind Frog Ranch, convinced it held hidden treasure and mysterious underground caverns.
