Legendary singer Barry Manilow, 82, says he fears his voice may not fully recover after his battle with lung cancer. The “Mandy” and “Copacabana” star underwent surgery after a late 2025 diagnosis and is now cancer-free, but he says a recent sound check shocked him when his voice didn’t sound the same.
He also spent time in intensive care with pneumonia during treatment, calling the experience terrifying. Despite this, Manilow says he feels physically well and hopes to return for a farewell tour, though he’s unsure if his voice will be ready, saying, “I’m ready to go. I just hope my voice is.”
