Her husband, Joseph Kell, said he had “lost the love of my life,” noting she will be deeply missed.
Born in Indonesia and raised across several countries, Mahaffey built a career spanning over four decades. She earned an Emmy for Northern Exposure and became widely recognized for roles in shows like Seinfeld, ER, Frasier, Desperate Housewives, and Young Sheldon.
She is survived by her husband and daughter, Alice.
