Actress Anne Schedeen, best known for playing Kate Tanner on the beloved sitcom ALF, has passed away at the age of 77.
Her family announced that she died peacefully, sharing that the news comes with “the heaviest of hearts.”
Before becoming a household name on ALF, Schedeen built a successful television career with appearances in shows such as The Six Million Dollar Man, The Bionic Woman, Three’s Company, The Incredible Hulk, and Starsky & Hutch.
From 1986 to 1990, she starred as the patient and caring Kate Tanner, helping make ALF one of television’s most memorable family sitcoms. Though she later described filming the puppet-heavy series as a “technical nightmare,” her performance remains cherished by generations of fans.
