Country music legend Alan Jackson’s final concert will be featured in a new NBC special titled “Alan Jackson: The Last Show,” airing later this year.
The farewell performance took place on June 27 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville and marked the end of Jackson’s touring career following his “Last Call: One More for the Road Tour.” The event will also stream on Peacock.
Jackson, who has been living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease since publicly revealing his diagnosis in 2021, has long been one of country music’s most influential artists.
The concert featured appearances from major stars including George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson, and was directed by Sam Wrench, known for major concert films like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
With a career spanning decades, Jackson is celebrated for hits like “Chattahoochee,” “Remember When,” and “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning),” as well as 26 No. 1 country singles and numerous major awards.
