A quiet neighborhood becomes suspicious after a family moves into an old blue house and is never seen during the day. Lights flicker at night, groceries appear mysteriously, and a young boy is occasionally spotted staring at neighboring houses.
One night, the boy knocks on Willow’s window, terrified. He begs her to help his mother and gives her a key to the house, warning that his father must not hear the police.
With help from a neighbor, Willow enters the house and discovers the boy’s injured mother locked inside. They call for help, and it’s revealed the father had been controlling and moving the family to avoid detection.
The mother is rescued, the father is arrested, and the boy is finally safe. Willow realizes she should have acted sooner.
