American millionaire and vineyard owner Ernie Dosio, 75, has died after a tragic encounter with elephants during a big-game hunting trip in Gabon.
He was on a guided $40,000 safari in the Lope-Okanda rainforest when a herd of elephants reportedly charged the group, killing Dosio and seriously injuring his guide, who survived.
Dosio, known for his passion for hunting and outdoor activities, was also a businessman and father of two. His death has prompted officials to arrange the return of his remains to the United States.
