Janice Dean, a longtime Fox News meteorologist and co-host of Fox & Friends, has announced she is stepping away from the morning show due to worsening symptoms from multiple sclerosis (MS).
Dean, who was diagnosed in 2005 and has worked at Fox News since 2004, said early mornings and the physical demands of live broadcasting had become increasingly difficult. She explained that MS is a chronic condition where the immune system attacks the nervous system, often causing fatigue, pain, and neurological issues.
After more than 20 years at the network, Dean said her decision was made to prioritize her health and family. She expressed gratitude to viewers and colleagues, calling her departure a “mostly sunny goodbye.”
