A 12-year-old girl from Alabama tragically died by suicide, leaving behind a heartbreaking message that her family hopes will save lives.
Lindsey Mae Swan was known as a kind, talented, and courageous girl who always stood up for others. Behind her smile, however, she was carrying unimaginable pain after losing her father and enduring relentless bullying at school.
In her final journal entry, Lindsey wrote: “It’s too late for me. Please talk to someone even if they act or look OK. They might make it because of you.”
Her family is now sharing her story to remind everyone that warning signs should never be ignored. Sometimes, a simple conversation can change—or even save—a life.
