Getting diagnosed with stage 4 cancer is something no one wants. Regular checkups and self-monitoring for warning signs are key to early detection.
UK content creator Georgie Swallow is raising awareness about Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. Diagnosed at 28, she mistook early symptoms—itchy legs, night sweats, and fatigue—for stress and didn’t seek help, even after noticing a lump in her neck.
Now 32, Georgie shares how cancer affected not just her health, but her fertility and mental well-being. Early menopause, caused by treatment, came before she had the chance to have children, which she described as “being hit by a bus.”
She urges others not to ignore persistent symptoms. “Cancer can take a lot from you,” she says, hoping her story helps others catch it earlier.
