Bobby Sherman, the iconic 1960s teen idol, has died at the age of 82.
The singer, actor, and former Hollywood heartthrob passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Los Angeles after a battle with stage 4 cancer.
Known for hits like “Little Woman” and “Julie, Do Ya Love Me,” Sherman became one of the biggest pop stars of the late ’60s and early ’70s. He also starred as Jeremy Bolt in the TV series “Here Come the Brides.”
Later in life, he stepped away from fame and dedicated himself to helping others, serving as an EMT, police trainer, and reserve officer.
His wife Brigitte Poublon Sherman and longtime friend John Stamos shared touching tributes celebrating his remarkable life.
