Iconic Actor Udo Kier Dies at 81

German actor Udo Kier, known for Blood for Dracula, Flesh for Frankenstein, My Own Private Idaho and Blade, has died at the age of 81.

Kier passed away in Palm Springs, California. His partner, Delbert McBride, confirmed his death, while no cause of death has been publicly announced.

With a career spanning nearly six decades and more than 250 films, Kier became known for his unforgettable presence and bold, unconventional performances.

From cult classics to Hollywood blockbusters, his work with directors such as Lars von Trier, Gus Van Sant and Werner Herzog made him one of cinema’s most distinctive actors.
