Beloved Actress Alice Hirson Dies at 95
Alice Hirson, known for her memorable roles on Dallas, Full House, and Ellen, has died at 95.
The veteran actress passed away from natural causes at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Los Angeles.
Hirson appeared in 26 episodes of Dallas and played Claire Tanner on Full House. She was also widely remembered as Ellen DeGeneres’ mother, Lois Morgan, on Ellen, including the emotional storyline surrounding Ellen’s coming out.
Her career spanned decades, with appearances in Murphy Brown, Just Shoot Me!, Private Benjamin, Being There, and several other productions.
She also performed on Broadway and enjoyed a long career in television and film.
