She Blocked Her First Date After He Grabbed Her Credit Card and Made One Disturbing Comment.
A woman warned her date that her favorite restaurant could cost nearly $500, even suggesting a cheaper Mexican place instead. But he insisted on the expensive restaurant, so she agreed.
The date went well until the bill arrived. They both offered to split it, but just as the server approached, the man suddenly grabbed her credit card and announced he would pay for everything.
Then he looked at her card and said, “Oh, now I finally know your last name.”
She immediately felt uncomfortable. As a bartender, she knew how easily someone could memorize card details, and she didn’t like that he had taken her card without permission.
When she got home, she blocked him. Later, she even sent him her share of the bill to make sure he didn’t think she had used him for a free dinner.
