An American researcher, Andrew Jones, claims to have discovered the remains of Noah’s Ark in Turkey, near Mount Ararat. Using ground-penetrating radar, Jones and his team pinpointed the Durupinar site, about 18 miles south of the biblical location. The site, shaped like a boat, measures 538 feet in length and features a 13-foot tunnel and corridors that match the biblical description of the Ark’s structure, including decks.
Jones also notes the presence of unique organic matter, with grass inside the formation differing in color and pH from the surrounding area. Tests suggest these soil changes may be linked to decaying wood, further supporting the Ark theory. Despite the evidence, Jones believes the remains are a “chemical imprint” of wood, not physical remnants, and calls for a drilling survey to confirm the find.
