Donald Trump Jr. Sparks Backlash After Biden Cancer Comments
After President Joe Biden was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, Donald Trump initially offered warm wishes for a “speedy recovery.” But his son, Donald Trump Jr., quickly stirred outrage online.
Though Trump Jr. first echoed his father’s respectful tone, he soon shifted gears, questioning how First Lady Jill Biden could have missed the diagnosis and implying a possible coverup. He even suggested the diagnosis might have been hidden from the public and pinned the conspiracy-laden post to the top of his X profile.
Social media users slammed Trump Jr.’s comments as insensitive and inappropriate. “You’re a disgrace,” one wrote. Others accused him of spreading misinformation and politicizing a serious health issue.
In contrast, Trump Sr. and other Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene offered sympathy. However, some MAGA figures, including Rep. Ronny Jackson and Laura Loomer, echoed conspiracy theories and criticized Biden’s medical team, claiming the diagnosis should’ve been caught earlier or had been deliberately concealed.
