My Mom, Brother, and SIL Made My Life Hell After Moving Into My House—I Endured Them for Months Until I Finally Put Them in Their Place

After my dad passed, he left me the family home. I kept it to honor him, but things spiraled when my mom and brother moved in uninvited. At first, I thought it was temporary—but they took over, treated me like a maid, and ignored that the house was legally mine.

They made my life hell—no rent, no help, constant mess, and endless demands. When my sister-in-law got pregnant, they used it as an excuse to exploit me further. My breaking point came when she ate the dinner I’d made after a long day, and they ganged up on me for reacting.

That night, I called my Uncle Bob. He offered to buy the house, just like he’d said before. I agreed—on the condition they all be gone. Within days, I sold it for $2 million and told them to leave.

They called me heartless, but I felt free. I bought my own place across town, blocked their numbers, and started fresh. I don’t regret it. I chose peace—and myself.
