Joan Collins with husband, Percy Gibson.

Joan Collins, best known for her iconic role as Alexis Carrington on Dynasty since 1981, is a television legend. While her career flourished, her personal life was filled with challenges.

Collins has been married five times. Her first marriage to actor Maxwell Reed was marred by abuse, which she later spoke out against in support of the #MeToo movement. Her second marriage to singer Anthony Newley ended due to his infidelity, despite having two children together. Her third husband, Ronald S. Kass, struggled with financial issues and addiction; they had a daughter, Katy. Her fourth marriage to Swedish singer Peter Holm was short-lived and ended in a bitter divorce.

After vowing never to marry again, Collins met Percy Gibson, a theater manager 32 years her junior. They married when she was 68, and have now been happily together for over two decades. Collins praises their deep understanding, mutual respect, and shared sense of humor, often joking about their age gap and relationship quirks, like keeping separate bathrooms—a tip from Michael Caine.

Their lasting bond, built on love and shared values, defies critics and remains strong to this day.
