Former President Obama responded to news of Joe Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis by expressing confidence in Biden’s “trademark resolve and grace.” He praised Biden’s leadership in cancer research, including the Cancer Moonshot initiative.
“Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family,” Obama posted on X. “Nobody has done more to find breakthrough treatments for cancer… We pray for a fast and full recovery.”
Biden’s spokesperson recently announced his diagnosis with aggressive prostate cancer, with metastasis to the bone. The cancer is hormone-sensitive, and treatment options are being reviewed.
