Just when it seemed Jennifer Garner couldn’t be more beloved, she’s melted hearts again with a compassionate act in Santa Monica.
While in a beachside parking lot, the 51-year-old actress noticed a homeless man in a wheelchair. Rather than drive away like many might, Garner stopped, gave him a bag of essentials, and saw he had no shoes.
She got out of her car, put socks on his feet, and even tried giving him her own shoes, but they didn’t fit. Undeterred, she asked a nearby paparazzo his shoe size and offered to buy his shoes for the man. The photographer, who wore the right size, gave up his shoes without accepting payment.
Garner’s selfless act is just the latest in a long line of kind gestures. From preserving her family farm to working with Save the Children, she continues to use her fame for good.
