Born Three Weeks Late, But Miles Ahead
Nyilah Daise Tzabari arrived three weeks late on February 27, 2023—but quickly made up for lost time. At just 2.5 days old, she stunned her parents by lifting her head and crawling in her hospital cot, a moment caught on video by her mom, Samantha Mitchell of White Oak, PA.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” said Samantha, a seasoned childcare provider with over 20 years of experience. The TikTok video, which now has over 57 million views, shows the newborn moving with surprising strength. Reactions online ranged from awe to humor, with many joking that babies like Nyilah are born ready for jobs.
Typically, babies begin crawling at 6–12 months. But Nyilah is far ahead. By 18 days, she was rolling over. By three months, she was smiling, babbling, slugging mom playfully, and trying to stand with support—already refusing to bend her legs.
“She doesn’t even need neck support anymore,” Samantha shared. “She’s alert, strong, and very social.”
Nyilah is now trying to mimic words and laughs easily, charming viewers with her bright personality. Her mom says, “I thought this was normal for babies—turns out, it’s not.”
