Prince William & Kate plans for “major shift,” says friend

Posted on June 21, 2025 By admin

This year has been very different for Prince William and Kate Middleton. After being diagnosed with cancer in early 2024, the Princess of Wales is now cancer-free and has slowly returned to royal duties, including recent appearances at The Order of the Garter Service and Trooping the Colour.

Despite her recovery, Kate is not fully back to her regular schedule, pulling out of the Royal Ascot at the last minute, reportedly disappointed. Her resilience has earned widespread praise, including from King Charles, who called her a “huge asset” to the monarchy and honored her as a Royal Companion of Honour.

Prince William and Kate have faced a tough year, but it has strengthened their bond. Their public appearances reflect warmth and unity, and royal watchers believe they’re preparing for future roles as King and Queen.

Though Charles remains firmly on the throne, insiders say “major shifts” are happening behind the scenes. A friend of the couple claims they’re building their teams and planning for the future. Former royal staff and experts have noted their modern, relatable approach, seeing them as the future face of the monarchy.

King Charles is confident in Kate’s future as queen, praising her focus on family and ability to modernize the royal image alongside William.
