Donald Trump’s Health Under Scrutiny Amid Age and Bruising Concerns

Donald Trump, recently turned 79, became the oldest U.S. president to be inaugurated. While he insists he’s in good health, some signs of aging, like bruising and wrinkled hands, have raised questions.

A recent medical report by White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella declared Trump physically and cognitively fit to serve, noting normal scans and only minor issues like a benign polyp and diverticulitis. He’s also taking medication for cholesterol and a skin condition, and previously underwent cataract surgery.

Despite this, Trump has been repeatedly seen with bruises on his right hand since 2023, including during court appearances and public events. The White House attributes the marks to frequent handshaking. Trump himself echoed that in interviews.

However, experts suggest the bruising could be due to minor trauma, thinning skin, or medications like blood thinners—common in older adults—and not necessarily alarming.

Speculation intensified after a viral photo from a UFC event led to claims Trump might be wearing a catheter. Critics cited signs like leg bulges and gait issues, while others strongly refuted the claims as baseless and medically inaccurate.
