Trump Warns Israel After Ceasefire With Iran Breaks Down
Donald Trump has warned Israel not to bomb Iran following reports that both countries violated a ceasefire he brokered.
Earlier today, Trump announced a peace deal between Israel and Iran to end their 12-day war. But soon after, reports claimed Iran fired missiles at Israel—an allegation Tehran denied. In response, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered continued military action against Iranian targets.
“In light of Iran’s violation of the ceasefire… I have instructed the IDF to continue high-intensity operations,” Katz said.
Trump, who previously called the ceasefire “unlimited,” reacted strongly to the renewed violence. On Truth Social, he wrote: “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS… BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”
The tension follows recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites, which Trump called a “spectacular military success.” He warned Iran against retaliation, vowing any response would be met with even greater force.
