In what many are calling a modern-day miracle, Kentucky mom Amanda Foster says her unborn baby was touched by the “hand of God”—and she has the ultrasound to prove it.
In April 2022, Foster shared an ultrasound of her son Jay, showing healthy development and no signs of Potter syndrome, a rare and life-threatening condition that had taken her first son, Xavier, at 20 weeks. Doctors once told her it was unlikely she’d ever have a healthy baby boy.
After two healthy daughters, Amanda and her husband welcomed Jay in August 2022. Now pregnant again with another boy, Kyler, doctors discovered a serious heart defect early on. As her pregnancy progressed, Amanda prayed before each ultrasound, asking for God’s protection.
At one scan, her daughter Bailey pointed out what appeared to be a large hand holding Kyler’s head in the image. Amanda says the sight brought her to tears, believing it to be divine reassurance.
Now 36 weeks along, Amanda recently shared that Kyler is healthy and thriving—already over 7 pounds. For her, the ultrasound is more than medical—it’s a symbol of hope, faith, and healing after years of heartbreak.
