Trump Breaks Silence on Assassination Attempt

The gunshots in July 2024 changed everything. The world watched as Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt.

Now, in an emotional interview with daughter-in-law Lara Trump, the former president recalls the moment that nearly ended his life.

Ear Grazed by Bullet

On July 13, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from a rooftop near a Pennsylvania rally. One bullet grazed Trump’s ear. Another killed retired firefighter Corey Comperatore. Two more people were seriously injured before a Secret Service sniper stopped the shooter.

“I Got Whacked”

Trump remembers the chaos: “I got whacked… People were screaming. I got down quickly.” He praised the agents who saved him but criticized security lapses: “They had a bad day… There were mistakes made.”

One suspended agent, Myosoty Perez, was reportedly responsible for the area’s security. Her attorney said she’s cooperating with investigators.

“We Got Lucky”

Trump credited sniper “David” with saving many lives: “He stopped it all in less than four seconds from a very long distance.”

Weeks later, Trump survived another attempt at his Florida golf club, when a man was shot by agents after pointing a gun through the perimeter.
