Dylan and Cole Sprouse know that sometimes, two is better than one.
The identical twins first stole hearts in Big Daddy (1999) with Adam Sandler, but their acting careers began at just 8 months old, sharing roles in commercials and TV, including Grace Under Fire. Like the Olsen twins, they were a Hollywood workaround for child labor laws.
Though Dylan is 15 minutes older, both became teen stars as Zack and Cody on Disney Channel’s The Suite Life series (2005–2008), later branching out into individual careers. Cole briefly acted solo on Friends, while Dylan returned to shared roles in Master of Disguise (2002).
After Disney, the twins stepped away from the spotlight to attend NYU—Cole studied archaeology and Dylan video game design. Cole later returned to fame playing Jughead in Riverdale (2017–2023), while Dylan explored voice acting and co-founded All-Wise Meadery.
Now 30, the Sprouses are pursuing separate paths but remain close. Dylan is engaged to model Barbara Palvin; Cole is dating French-Canadian model Ari Fournier. As for working together again? Dylan says it would take the right project—because “twin movies are never good.”
