Maureen Maguire, longtime partner of Ed Kelce and a stepmother figure to NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, has died at 74.
Ed Kelce announced her passing in a Facebook post, noting she died peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
A graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School and West Chester University, Maureen began her career as an elementary teacher before focusing on family life. She was known for her love of the beach, dogs—especially her companion Butch—and her late-found passion for football, which she shared with Ed.
Together, the couple enjoyed traveling, concerts, and football games. Maureen was admired for her warmth, humor, hospitality, and vibrant spirit.
According to the U.S. Sun, Ed once shared that Maureen bonded with Taylor Swift, even joking with her during a photo that she was “stealing her boyfriend.”
Maureen and Ed began their relationship after his split from ex-wife Donna Kelce. Ed and Donna, who share sons Jason (born 1987) and Travis (1989), were married for nearly 25 years before separating after their sons graduated college. Despite the separation, they maintained a friendly co-parenting relationship.
