King Charles brushes off cancer question with 5-word reply
During a visit to Newmarket with Queen Camilla, King Charles briefly spoke about his health. When asked how he was doing, he responded, “Just one of those things.” The King, still undergoing treatment for an undisclosed cancer diagnosed in February 2024, added he was feeling “a lot better.”
Despite a brief hospital stay in March, Charles has continued royal duties, including visits to Rome, Vatican City, and Canada. In April, he reflected on his experience during a cancer charity event, saying it deepened his appreciation for others facing illness. A royal aide later noted the King is handling the illness “incredibly well” and living life as normally as possible.
