An experienced outdoorsman, Watkins was raised on his family’s Dallas-area ranch and was active in the Dallas Safari Club. He frequently shared his hunting adventures on social media.
His ex-wife, Courtney, and their daughter, Savannah, have been notified. Courtney shared a now-deleted post expressing heartbreak over the loss and its emotional complexity.
