Brandon, a homeless man, offers his last $2 to an elderly man at a gas station, and the next day inherits the man’s company. Brandon believes this is a fresh start for his family.
While shopping, Brandon helps an elderly man who’s struggling to pay for water. After paying for it, Brandon learns the man was Mr. Grives, a businessman, who later leaves Brandon his company in his will. Brandon signs the papers, and his family moves into a mansion.
However, the house is vandalized, and soon Brandon learns of illegal dealings tied to the company. Christopher, Mr. Grives’s son, demands $2 million, threatening Brandon and his family. Brandon tries to pay but finds the company’s assets are tied up. Christopher kidnaps Brandon’s kids, and Brandon, working with the FBI, agrees to give up the company to save them.
In a twist, the FBI arrests Christopher, and Brandon, though left penniless, is free. He reassures his children that love is their true wealth, no matter what happens next.
