When Emily discovers an email about an apartment her husband Ryan secretly rents, her life is turned upside down. Ryan’s evasive answers raise her suspicions, so she teams up with her best friend, Sarah, to investigate. They find the apartment, only to be confronted by Ryan and their daughter Lily. Shocked, Emily learns that Ryan has been hiding his passion for music, renting the apartment as a studio to pursue his dream. Despite the secrecy, he wants to share this part of himself with Emily.
