Katy Perry blasted for destroying 40th birthday cake as dancers eat it off floor: ‘Cringe AF’

Posted on October 29, 2025 By admin

Katy Perry is getting blasted online for destroying her 40th Birthday cake, which her backup dancers ended up eating off the floor.

The pop star chose to celebrate the mega milestone backstage following a recent stop on her ongoing Lifetimes Tour.

Still dressed in her costume from the show, the star was filmed surrounded by her crew members as she blew out the candles on a large sheet cake.

She then chose to pick up the cake and chuck it at a suit clad man wearing a headset, but she missed, and it ended up on the floor. The singer started to laugh as a few of her dancers approached the demolished dessert, bent down, and then scooped some of the bites to try.

A genuinely confused and upset X user who claimed that her mother baked the cake, posted the video, and called out Perry for the behavior.

‘My mom was the one who baked this cake and she was so excited about the chance to make a cake for Katy Perry and spent so long on it. I am just genuinely confused and upset as to why she would engage in such behavior. The X user mentioned, prompting furious fans to weigh in.
