Erika Kirk is responding publicly to a very controversial matter regarding late-night Night Talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel.
During her recent sit-down interview, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk responded publicly to the shocking remarks following her husband’s assassination.
Erika mentioned how the broadcasting firm Sinclair Broadcast Group was the one that reached out to her first and offered to facilitate an apology from Kimmel. They similarly invited her to be on his talk show.

She declined and told the interviewer that if you want to say sorry to someone who is in pain and is grieving, go right ahead. But if that’s not in your heart, then don’t do it. “I don’t want it and I certainly don’t need it!”- she boldly proclaimed during the interview.
Her reply comes after Kimmel’s September 15 monologue, where he implied that the accused shooter of Charlie Kirk was linked with what he deemed the MAGA gang.

In reply, Kimmel’s show was temporarily pulled from broadcast by ABC and some major affiliate networks. She similarly emphasized how the matter is not about her accepting a script or a public-facing apology. It’s all about sincerity and integrity behind words.
She also stressed how the outreach was not their issue, and neither was the mess any of her responsibility.
