Reality TV star Tammy Slaton of 1000 Lb Sisters just stunned fans when she appeared at her sister Amy Slaton’s wedding, appearing nearly unrecognizable.
At the Halloween wedding in Kentucky, she stood right next to her sister in a black and gray striped turtleneck and dark jeans, which was quite a contrast to her former full-figured self.
Tammy lost more than 500 pounds, specifically dropping from over 700 pounds at one point in time.
After her massive weight loss, she underwent excessive skin removal surgery, which is something that she’d sought long ago.
Fans and online commentators were surprised at her altered appearance. As one person mentioned, ‘I still cannot believe the difference, she’s the last person out of everyone I thought would succeed and here she is proving me wrong!’
Tammy herself admitted that seeing her new body feels so weird, especially after excess skin removal. “I don’t have anything hanging… sack my bat wings are gone too! It’s going to take a while for me to get used to this, as I have never seen myself in this way,” she added.
This moment at the wedding seems to mark a major milestone in Tammy’s health journey, both physically as well as emotionally. She also presents a different image and seems to be loving the way she looks right now.
