Drama at the White House as Man Collapses During Trump’s Announcement
Drama unfolded at the White House on Thursday, November 6, when a man collapsed as President Donald Trump announced lower costs for weight-loss drugs.
The incident went viral, sparking speculation about Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who appeared to “flee the scene.” Witnesses later clarified he left briefly to get a chair and a wet towel to assist the man.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, was speaking about Trump’s drug cost-reduction plan when the collapse occurred. The White House Medical Unit responded quickly, and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the man was okay.
Social media buzzed over Trump’s calm reaction, while Deputy Press Secretary Kush Desai defended Kennedy, saying he “rushed to get medical assistance.”
Sources said the man was “in pretty bad shape” and was taken out on a gurney after attempts to help him sit up.
