Posted on November 11, 2025 By admin

Emily Gold, 17, was a talented and passionate dancer from Los Osos High School who recently captured hearts on America’s Got Talent with her team’s energetic performances.

Tragically, Emily passed away on Friday, September 13, as confirmed by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. Authorities reported she died after being struck by a vehicle on the eastbound 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga. Her death is being investigated as a suicide, though no note was found.

Earlier this year, Emily’s team reached the AGT quarterfinals, earning praise from judge Simon Cowell, who called their performance “absolutely brilliant” and full of “energy and friendship.”

Following her passing, the Los Osos High School community has been left heartbroken. A GoFundMe has been launched to support the Gold family, and her dance team remembered Emily as “a leader, role model, friend, and sister,” known for her kindness, strength, and humble heart.
