NFL fans were recently left outraged by a rendition of the American National Anthem before Sunday’s international game that took place in Madrid.
Ahead of the massive kickoff between the Washington Commanders and the Miami Dolphins at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for the first-ever NFL game that was hosted in Spain, many saw US-based pop singer Karina Pasian take the stage and perform. This was moments after the Madrid Marine Infantry Group Band’s rendition of rolling out the Spanish national anthem.
Pasian could be seen donning a mini dress in the color black with a deep cowl neckline. She chose to pair that with some thigh-high stockings and some long gloves that went over her elbows during this performance.
But the 34-year-old star’s attire drew massive criticism from NFL fans who left comments under a video featuring her performance that was shared to X. One person slammed the star for putting on a great performance while dressing up as a hooker.
‘It’s great to see the sharing of sports and competition with other nations! Karina’s rendition of the American national anthem was so lovely, but why is she dressed in this manner’- another wrote. They also thought it was refreshing that no player kneeled during the anthem.
Others referenced the star to a cabaret danger, and that took away from her great vocals. What do you think?
