Barron Trump has always been a devoted soccer fan and played throughout his childhood. As the president’s son, he met several stars at the White House, and recently he met one of the biggest: Cristiano Ronaldo. During dinner, Donald Trump proudly shared the moment.
Now a sophomore at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Barron has transferred to the university’s D.C. campus and moved back into the White House. He voted for the first time in the 2020 election, and some MAGA supporters have speculated he could one day become president.
In a recent Fox interview with Laura Ingraham, Trump praised all his children and called Barron “tremendous” and “meticulous.” When asked if Barron might follow him into politics, Trump said it was possible.
Barron lived in the White House during Trump’s first term and played for D.C. United’s youth soccer team. This week, Cristiano Ronaldo visited the White House during Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s trip. Trump spent time with Ronaldo and later revealed that Barron had met him, joking that his son “respects his father a little bit more now” for the introduction.
