A Florida woman has been killed in a terrifying encounter with an alligator while she happened to be canoeing with her partner on Lake Kissimmee.
The incident arose near the mouth of Tiger Creek. Sources shared how they passed an alligator in water that was nearly 30 inches deep. This beast thrashed the boat she was in and also caused the 14-foot canoe to tilt over. As a result, both Cynthia and her partner ended up in the lake.

Unfortunately, Cynthia landed right on top of the alligator, and that reptile ended up biting her and dragging her from the area near the canoe. While both Cynthia and her partner entered the water together, only one of them came out alive.
Her husband did try to step in and rescue, but it was to no avail. As shared by Fox 13, the Sheriff’s Office had to get involved, and they made use of a helicopter to locate her remains. As per members of the commission, they don’t believe the alligator attack was predatory in nature.

The family is still reeling from this kind of incident, which they claim is something that they could never have imagined in their wildest dreams.
An investigation is taking place as the community is in shock, as many alligator incidents in the area don’t usually end in death.
