Children are full of energy and creativity. I remember being 5 and deciding it was a great idea to draw all over my bunk bed with a marker—beautiful to me, less so to my parents.
But these kids from Surrey, UK, used their creativity for something far more important. During an Easter egg hunt for a charity event supporting a boy with leukemia, they heard a helicopter overhead. Looking up, they saw it was a police helicopter chasing two suspected burglars who had just split up.
The children noticed which directions the men ran and quickly formed a human arrow on the ground to guide the police above. At first, the officers were confused, but soon realized the kids were pointing toward the suspects.
Thanks to their clever idea, the two men, ages 27 and 28, were arrested. The police later flew back to thank the children for their help.
